Spend the night in a comfortable chalet at the Drentsche Aa National Park, in one of the chalets that we rent out at Recreatiepark Kniphorst.

From here you can;

follow one of the many walking or cycling routes;
continue along the Pieterpad;
horse riding;
mountain biking;
a day of shopping in Assen or Groningen;
visiting the picturesque village of Zuidlaren;.
swimming at 't Nije Hemelriek.

About us

Drenthe Recreatieverhuur rents out accommodations at Recreatiepark Kniphorst. The park is in a beautiful location directly on the Drentsche Aa National Park. It is pleasant to stay in these forests. In addition to the many sights in this forest such as the dolmens, numerous hiking trails and cycling routes have been set out in this beautiful forest. From here you can also continue along the Pieterpad.

The recreation park itself is under construction in 2023 and has no facilities yet.
